Senior Microsoft 365 Engineer

Introduction

We are looking for a highly experienced Microsoft 365 Engineer with expertise in enterprise-scale M365 environments, identity management, and security. This role is for professionals who have designed, implemented, and led Microsoft 365 transformations end-to-end.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and implementation of enterprise Microsoft 365 solutions
• Drive migration programs (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams) from on-prem to cloud
• Architect and enforce identity, access, and security policies
• Automate operations using PowerShell and scripting frameworks
• Troubleshoot complex tenant, hybrid, and security issues
• Ensure compliance, governance, and data protection standards
• Partner with stakeholders to deliver secure and scalable collaboration platforms

Requirements

Mandatory Certifications (Non-Negotiable)

Candidates must hold at least one active certification from the following:

• Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert
• Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Security Administrator Associate

Profiles without relevant Microsoft certifications will not be considered.

Must-Have Technical Skills (Non-Negotiable)

• Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft 365 (Enterprise level)
• Deep expertise in:
  • Exchange Online (mail flow, migrations, hybrid setup)
  • Microsoft Teams (policies, voice, governance)
  • SharePoint Online & OneDrive
• Advanced knowledge of Azure AD / Entra ID:
  • Identity & Access Management (IAM)
  • SSO, MFA, Conditional Access
• Strong PowerShell scripting for automation and administration
• Hands-on experience with M365 Security & Compliance:
  • Microsoft Defender, DLP, eDiscovery, retention policies

Preferred / High-Value Skills (Strong Advantage)

• Experience with Hybrid environments (on-prem AD + cloud)
• Expertise in Intune / Endpoint Manager (MDM/MAM)
• Experience implementing Zero Trust security models
• Exposure to Azure cloud architecture
• Additional Microsoft certifications (Security, Azure, or Endpoint)
