Job Description: Technical Project Manager (Enterprise Agile Environment) - Must be local to St. Louis

The Technical Project Manager is a senior-level role supporting enterprise technology initiatives within a fast-paced, Agile environment. This position has significant impact on organizational success and is ideal for candidates who are highly motivated, adaptable, and passionate about solving complex problems.

This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on execution, focusing on driving initiatives, partnering across technology teams, and ensuring successful delivery of outcomes to internal stakeholders. A strong emphasis is placed on continuous improvement, operational excellence, and data-driven decision-making.
Key Responsibilities

Tool Administration & Governance
  • Oversee administration and governance of tools such as Aha! and Jira, including user management, usage standards, and system integrations.

Data Integrity & Management
  • Manage data extraction and synchronization across systems (e.g., Workday or similar platforms) to maintain accurate organizational structures (e.g., segments, tribes, squads).
  • Ensure high-quality data to support executive-level reporting and dashboards.

Process Optimization & Innovation
  • Evaluate workflows and identify opportunities to improve efficiency through automation.
  • Leverage AI and generative AI technologies to streamline processes and enhance operations.

Execution & Operational Support
  • Balance strategic priorities with hands-on execution, supporting both high-level initiatives and day-to-day operational needs.
  • Maintain a proactive, team-first mindset with a willingness to support tasks of varying scope and complexity.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Partner with stakeholders across technology, architecture, legal, and operations teams.
  • Support program teams in identifying risks, solving problems, and executing mitigation strategies.

Program Planning & Delivery
  • Develop program roadmaps, documentation, and deliverables.
  • Understand dependencies across platforms, systems, and initiatives, ensuring alignment and coordination.

Leadership & Communication
  • Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and communications.
  • Represent initiatives within broader program management and cross-functional forums.

Coaching & Continuous Improvement
  • Mentor team members on Agile best practices, Lean thinking, and process improvement methodologies.
  • Actively contribute to problem-solving and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Data Analysis & Reporting
  • Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis to assess outcomes.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
Skills & Qualifications

Experience & Education
  • 8-10+ years of project management or operations experience in a complex enterprise environment
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
  • Experience working in Agile environments with strong knowledge of Agile best practices
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Aha!, or similar tools (administrative experience preferred)
  • Experience managing data integrity, system integrations, or reporting (Workday experience a plus)
  • Demonstrated ability to engage with senior leadership
  • Experience in high-volume, transaction-driven environments
  • Experience supporting cross-functional teams and delivering business outcomes
  • Exposure to AI tools and automation strategies preferred
  • Basic programming or technical background is a plus
