Job Title: Salesforce Project Manager (PMP) – Public Sector
Location: Remote
Duration: Long-term Contract

Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Salesforce Project Manager (PMP Certified) to lead enterprise-level Salesforce initiatives for a California State Agency. This role requires strong expertise in legacy-to-Salesforce data migration, full lifecycle Salesforce implementations, and Agile delivery, along with the ability to manage cross-functional technical teams and complex integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end Salesforce implementations inclu,ding planning, execution, and delivery
• Manage legacy-to-Salesforce data migration, including data mapping, cleansing, transformation, validation, and deployment
• Interpret legacy data structures with limited or outdated documentation
• Oversee Salesforce technical teams (Developers, Architects, Admins)
• Manage system integrations and case management implementations
• Work with Public Sector Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Customer Community portals
• Define and manage Salesforce environment strategy inclu,ding sandbox management
• Oversee release management and deployment processes
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments
• Ensure platform governance, security, and compliance standards
• Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies and manage backlog using JIRA
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans using Microsoft Project
• Coordinate with stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of milestones

Mandatory / Must Have Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent experience)
• Active PMP Certification (Required)
• Minimum 5+ years of Salesforce Project Management experience
• Minimum 3+ years working with California State Agencies / Public Sector
• Strong experience in legacy-to-Salesforce data migration

Experience with:

• Data mapping, cleansing, and transformation
• Full data migration lifecycle (test loads, validation, deployment)

Proven experience managing:

• Salesforce Developers, Architects, and Admins
• At least 3 full lifecycle Salesforce implementations

• Hands-on experience with:

• Salesforce Public Sector Cloud
• Experience Cloud
• Customer Community portals

Strong knowledge of:

• Salesforce sandboxes and environment management
• Release management processes
• CI/CD pipelines
• Platform governance and security

Minimum 3+ years of Agile/Scrum experience using JIRA

• Experience using Microsoft Project for planning and tracking
