Job Title: Salesforce Technical Lead (TL) – Public Sector Location: Remote Duration: Long Term Contract

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Technical Lead (TL) to support large-scale implementations for a California State Agency. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Salesforce architecture, integrations, CI/CD, and secure data handling, along with a proven track record leading full lifecycle implementations in the public sector.

Key Responsibilities: Lead end-to-end Salesforce implementations including design, development, and deployment Provide technical leadership for Salesforce Public Sector Cloud and Experience Cloud solutions Design and implement secure solutions handling sensitive data (PII, HIPAA, confidential records) Architect and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools such as AutoRabit, Copado, or Flosum

  • Lead Salesforce integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP APIs
  • Ensure system scalability, performance, and compliance with security standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including architects, developers, and business analysts
  • Review code, enforce best practices, and maintain development standards
  • Support DevOps processes and release management activities

Mandatory / Must Have Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience) Minimum 7+ years of Salesforce Technical Lead experience supporting California State Agencies / Public Sector Proven experience delivering:

  • At least 3 full lifecycle Salesforce implementations (Public Sector Cloud / Experience Cloud)
  • At least 1 implementation involving sensitive/regulated data (PII, HIPAA, or government records)

At least 1 engagement implementing CI/CD processes using tools like AutoRabit, Copado, or Flosum Minimum 3+ years of experience integrating Salesforce with external systems using:

  • REST APIs

SOAP APIs Strong experience in:

  • Secure system design and compliance
  • Salesforce architecture and development best practices

Minimum 5 active Salesforce Certifications, including:

  • Salesforce Administrator
  • Platform Developer I
  • At least one Architect-level certification (mandatory)
