JOB DESCRIPTION:
Viatris is seeking a strategic and execution-focused Global Marketing Lead to support its
Cardiovascular and Central Nervous System (CNS) portfolio. This contract role will be
responsible for shaping and driving global brand strategies, supporting key growth assets, and
ensuring strong alignment across countries.
The role requires deep expertise in pharmaceutical innovative marketing, with a strong
understanding of the evolving disease area landscapes, including patient pathways, stakeholder
dynamics, and market access considerations.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and execution of global marketing and brand strategies
innovative global assets
Partner with country local teams to translate global strategy into impactful, market-
relevant execution
Drive customer-centric initiatives, including segmentation, targeting, and customer
experience mapping
Support launch readiness and lifecycle management across priority brands
Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Market Access, Regulatory,
Commercial, and Insights teams
Develop core global messaging, value propositions, and omnichannel campaign
frameworks
Leverage data and insights to inform strategy, optimize performance, and identify
growth opportunities
Ensure all activities comply with pharmaceutical regulations and internal governance
Manage and coordinate external agencies and strategic partners
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor s degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred
8 12+ years of experience in pharmaceutical marketing, with global or regional
leadership exposure
Proven ability to develop and execute global brand strategies
Solid understanding of customer experience, omnichannel engagement, and digital
transformation
Experience working within a matrixed global organization
Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
Analytical mindset with experience leveraging data, insights, and market research
