Description: About the Role We are seeking an experienced
OnBase Technical Lead to serve as the technical authority for enterprise OnBase solutions, with a strong emphasis on
OnBase WorkView and
Workflow. In this role, you will lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of business-critical OnBase applications while providing technical leadership across the full software development lifecycle.
The ideal candidate combines deep OnBase technical expertise with strong leadership skills and a passion for building scalable, reliable, and efficient solutions. You will partner closely with business stakeholders, architects, analysts, developers, and support teams to deliver innovative content management and process automation solutions that drive operational excellence.
What You'll Do - Serve as the primary technical lead and subject matter expert for OnBase platforms, including WorkView and Workflow.
- Lead the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of OnBase applications and solutions.
- Architect and optimize WorkView applications and Workflow processes to address complex business requirements.
- Configure, administer, and support OnBase environments to ensure performance, scalability, security, and reliability.
- Translate business requirements into technical designs, solution architectures, and implementation plans.
- Partner with stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate options, and recommend technical solutions.
- Design and implement integrations, interfaces, workflows, and process automation strategies across enterprise systems.
- Participate in hands-on development, configuration, coding, unit testing, debugging, deployment, and production support.
- Review technical designs and code to ensure adherence to best practices, quality standards, and enterprise architecture guidelines.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts and resolve application, workflow, and production issues.
- Provide mentorship, coaching, and technical guidance to developers and support personnel.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to OnBase development standards, performance optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Manage technical risks, dependencies, and issue resolution throughout project lifecycles.
- Prepare and communicate project status, timelines, and technical recommendations to leadership and stakeholders.
- Support user acceptance testing, system testing, and release activities.
- Deliver training and knowledge-sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities and support readiness.
Minimum Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 7+ years of experience implementing, supporting, and enhancing OnBase solutions in enterprise environments.
- 5+ years of experience working with OnBase WorkView and Workflow.
- Experience leading technical teams or serving as a technical lead on enterprise projects.
- Strong experience gathering business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
- Experience with application troubleshooting, production support, testing, and deployment activities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Preferred Qualifications - OnBase WorkView Certification.
- OnBase Workflow Certification.
- Experience with OnBase systems administration and configuration.
- Knowledge of OnBase Unity Client and its use in enterprise applications.
- Experience designing and implementing complex process automation solutions.
- Experience integrating OnBase with enterprise applications and third-party systems.
- Familiarity with content management, document imaging, records management, and business process automation principles.
- Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices and solution architecture.
