Salesforce DeveloperWe''re seeking an experienced IT engineer to contribute to our CRM platform. Reporting directly to the Senior Director, Salesforce Platform leader on our Enterprise Products and Platforms team
Primary Responsibilities- Engages with upper management and internal clients to identify needs and assess alternative business solutions.
- Collaborates proactively with the IT Architecture team to design efficient and cost-effective services and capabilities.
- Demonstrates a strong understanding of business processes to facilitate the creation and enhancement of applications at a rapid pace.
- Takes responsibility for delivering required Salesforce Platform components on time and within budget, while also managing relationships with business partners and vendors like Salesforce
- Develops a deep understanding of functional partner needs and strategic priorities.
- Mentors, develops, motivates, and coaches teams to foster collaborative and effective teamwork.
- Collaborates cross-functionally across OneTech and with key business stakeholders inside and outside of our client.
- Utilizes industry knowledge to address and enhance business capabilities by staying abreast of trends, developments, and capabilities.
- Ensures that solutions and services deliver expected business value or higher.
- Translates business needs into effective processes and technical solutions, coordinating with internal and external technology partners.
- Own end-to-end architecture of Salesforce solutions (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc.)
- Design scalable, secure, and maintainable systems using Apex, LWC, integrations, and platform features
- Define and enforce engineering standards, design patterns, and best practices
- Write high-quality, production-grade code (Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, integrations)
- Troubleshoot and resolve performance, scalability, and data integrity issues
- Optimize org performance, governor limits usage, and large data handling strategies
- Collaborate with DevOps and QA for CI/CD, testing strategy, and release management
- Conduct code reviews and provide guidance on complex implementations
- Ensure proper governance: security model, sharing rules, data model integrity
Minimum Qualifications- Bachelor''s degree in business, Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, Mathematics, or relevant discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in salesforce development
- Strong business acumen and successful track record in similar IT roles.
Skills and Technologies- Strong understanding of B2B distribution and sales operations
Expertise in:o Apex, SOQL, Lightning Web Components
o Flow automation (especially for complex business processes)
- Integration experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and middleware
Knowledge of:o Pricing, promotions, and trade spend concepts
o Territory management and route optimization
- Experience supporting mobile sales teams
Preferred Qualifications- Proficient with Scrumban, XP, Kanban, Lean, and other Agile frameworks
- Proficiency with Office365
- Experience working in Agile teams
- Competent with SAFe, Scrumban, XP, Kanban, Lean, and other Agile frameworks
- Experience in food and beverage, CPG or distribution industry
