We are seeking a Senior AV Manager to work on a team at our client site in Ridgefield Park, NJ. This role is W2 hourly with Roth Staffing (Ledgent is a division of Roth), with all work taking place onsite. No 3rd party candidates will be considered.

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior AV Manager to lead enterprise audiovisual consulting, system design, and project delivery. This role bridges business needs with technical execution and requires a strong client-facing professional who can design complex AV environments, manage projects end-to-end, and support installations and executive users as needed.
The ideal candidate is comfortable presenting solutions to executive stakeholders, engineering advanced video conferencing systems, leading cross-functional teams, and delivering white-glove support in fast-paced enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
<>Client & Business Engagement (60%)>
- Serve as the primary AV Subject Matter Expert (SME) for clients and internal partners
- Conduct needs assessments and recommend scalable AV solutions
- Present AV strategies and technologies to executive stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into technical AV designs
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and integration partners
<>AV System Design & Engineering (60%)>
- Design enterprise-level AV systems including:
- Video conferencing rooms (huddle, conference, boardroom, training)
- Collaboration and multi-purpose spaces
- Digital signage and integrated AV environments
- Design systems with proper signal flow, network integration, DSP concepts, and control systems
- Ensure interoperability across conferencing platforms and room technologies
- Demonstrate deep expertise in:
- Cisco video conferencing solutions (Room Series, codec platforms)
- Poly video collaboration systems
- Cisco Webex, Microsoft Teams, Zoom
<>Project Management & Leadership (60%)>
- Lead AV projects from concept through completion
- Manage internal technicians and third-party AV integrators
- Develop project timelines, milestones, and resource plans
- Coordinate with IT, network, facilities, and construction teams
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
- Proactively identify risks and resolve technical challenges
Commercial, Documentation & Operational Responsibilities (25%)
Bill of Materials (BoM) & Commercial Review
- Develop detailed Bills of Materials aligned with design intent and budget
- Review vendor quotes for technical accuracy and scope alignment
- Validate partner invoices against approved scope and pricing
- Support procurement and cost-optimization efforts
Scope Documentation & Reporting
- Define and communicate project scope to clients and integrators
- Produce technical documentation, system diagrams, and as-built drawings
- Prepare project closeout documentation and client sign-off materials
- Maintain organized documentation for audit and service continuity
Operational & Strategic Contribution
- Establish AV standards and best practices
- Recommend lifecycle upgrades and AV technology roadmaps
- Stay current with emerging AV and collaboration technologies
- Support business development with technical consultation
Installation Oversight & Technical Support (15%)
- Oversee and assist with AV installations and commissioning
- Perform system testing, validation, and user acceptance support
- Provide advanced troubleshooting for AV and video conferencing systems
- Deliver end-user training and ongoing support
- Provide white-glove executive support when required
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Network, Telecommunications, Audio/Visual, or related field
- Strong experience in enterprise AV system design, integration, and deployment
- Solid understanding of IP-based AV, networking fundamentals, and UC platforms
- Ability to communicate effectively with executives, engineers, and technicians
- Strong documentation, reporting, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to lift 10-40 lbs and perform hands-on installation support as needed
Preferred Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in AV system design, integration, and project management
- Experience managing enterprise-scale AV deployments
- Executive-level communication and presentation skills
- Strong leadership, decision-making, and accountability
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, high-pressure environments
- Customer-first mindset
- Korean / English bilingual
Preferred Certifications
- AVIXA CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I
- PMP certification (a plus)
