Position Summary
4Consulting, Inc is seeking a qualified Software Developers to support technology consulting, application development, systems analysis, testing, data management, cybersecurity, infrastructure, or project delivery services for client projects. The selected candidate will perform duties consistent with the client’s project requirements and company delivery standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The candidate will be responsible for:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices and RESTful APIs using enterprise development frameworks.
- Develop and optimize backend services, database interactions, and event-driven applications to ensure scalability and performance.
- Perform unit, integration, and system testing while participating in code reviews and software quality initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams using Agile methodologies to deliver high-quality software solutions and maintain technical documentation.
Minimum Qualifications
The position requires:

Education
|
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience
|
5+ years of experience in Java application development, microservices architecture, REST API development, and Agile software delivery.

|
Technical Skills
|
Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Kafka, Hibernate, PostgreSQL, Git, JUnit
|
|
Business / Domain Skills
|
Software Development, Microservices Architecture, Agile Scrum, System Integration, Problem Solving, Technical Documentation

|
Ability to communicate with technical and business stakeholders.

|
Ability to prepare project documentation, status updates, and deliverables.

Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Sponsorship may be considered where permitted by company policy and project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing event-driven applications using messaging platforms.
- Knowledge of relational database design, ORM frameworks, and application performance optimization.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaborative development skills.
