Job Summary: This role leads complex, large-scale technology initiatives with significant financial, technical, and operational impact. The Senior IT Project Manager is responsible for planning and executing concurrent projects by aligning business and technical objectives, managing vendors, and mitigating risk. The primary initiative involves a nationwide deployment of CCTV cameras, NVR systems, and AI-based vision technology across multiple locations.
Key Responsibilities: - Lead large, cross-functional technology programs with multimillion-dollar budgets and high delivery risk
- Define project scope, goals, timelines, and deliverables across multiple workstreams
- Develop and manage detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation
- Coordinate internal teams, business stakeholders, and external vendors to ensure on-time delivery
- Provide project, technical, and business leadership throughout the project lifecycle
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks and mitigation strategies
- Maintain clear communication with stakeholders regarding progress, issues, and changes
- Manage complex vendor relationships and nationwide deployment activities
- Support executive leadership in project reporting and decision-making
- Coach and develop less experienced project team members
- Share best practices, lessons learned, and new knowledge across the team
Key Initiative: - Deployment of CCTV cameras
- Network Video Recorders (NVRs)
- AI-based computer vision and security systems
Required Qualifications: - 7+ years of IS/IT experience
- Progressive experience in project management roles
- Proven ability to lead large, multi-functional technology projects
- Strong experience with CCTV, security systems, NVR platforms, and AI vision technology
- Experience managing vendors and complex technology deployments
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience using hybrid project delivery methodologies (Agile and Waterfall)
Preferred Qualifications: - Experience in retail, hospitality, logistics, or similar multi-site environments
- Enterprise-scale, nationwide rollout experience
Project Scope: - Large-scale, nationwide technology deployments
- Project budgets ranging from $3M to $15M
Work Methodology: - Hybrid delivery model (Agile + Waterfall)
