Program Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Maryland Heights, MO that is seeking an experienced Program Manager to lead complex, large-scale technology programs focused on application modernization, cloud migration, and advanced data-driven platforms. This role requires a hands-on program leader who can speak confidently and in depth about feature development, SDLC execution, and technical decision-making within enterprise environments. The ideal candidate has managed multiple workstreams, partnered closely with engineering, and successfully delivered features from concept through production.

Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage large, multi-workstream technology programs within an enterprise environment
* Drive end-to-end delivery of feature development, from ideation and planning through deployment and go-live
* Partner closely with engineering, architecture, product, and data teams to ensure alignment on scope, priorities, and technical approach
* Facilitate discussions and decision-making related to technology stack, architecture, and implementation strategy
* Oversee application modernization initiatives and cloud migration efforts
* Track program progress, risks, dependencies, and milestones, providing clear and consistent communication to stakeholders
* Ensure programs follow SDLC best practices and governance standards
* Manage program documentation, planning artifacts, and executive-level presentations

REQUIREMENTS:
* Proven experience as a Program Manager leading large-scale, enterprise technology programs
* Strong understanding of SDLC and feature-driven development
* Hands-on experience supporting cloud-based platforms and data-focused initiatives
* Demonstrated experience facilitating technical discussions and contributing to technology decisions
* Experience working within large, complex corporate environments
* Strong communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
* Experience supporting or managing GIS-related platforms or initiatives preferred

Technical Environment (Exposure Required):
* Cloud platforms (AWS preferred), including migration initiatives
* Data and application platforms leveraging technologies such as PostgreSQL, Spark, Airflow, Java, and APIs
* Batch processing and data pipeline workflows
* Agile delivery frameworks

Tools & Platforms:
* Jira and Confluence for program tracking and documentation
* Collaboration and planning tools (e.g., Chalk or similar)
* PowerPoint for executive-level reporting and presentations

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
