Description
We are looking for an experienced ERP/CRM Architect to join our team on a long-term contract basis. This role, based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, offers an exciting opportunity to design and implement cutting-edge data solutions for enterprise systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data architecture, particularly with modern tools like Microsoft Fabric and Power BI, and experience with SAP S/4HANA.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain canonical data models tailored to core business domains.
Ensure alignment of enterprise data models with SAP S/4HANA, legacy systems, and analytics requirements.
Architect and document Microsoft Fabric Lakehouse structures, including Silver/Gold layers and Power BI semantic models.
Collaborate with stakeholders and system integrators to enhance data integration, quality, and governance processes.
Create comprehensive architecture documentation and review technical deliverables from system integrators.
Establish design standards and implementation guidelines for Silver/Gold data layers.
Define best practices and frameworks for Power BI semantic models and reporting.
Develop patterns for data integration, history management, and governance.
Produce executive-level artifacts that clearly communicate architectural designs and decisions.
Requirements
Extensive experience with SAP data models, including SAP S/4HANA (additional experience with legacy SAP systems is a plus).
Strong knowledge of manufacturing and distribution data domains, as well as dimensional modeling techniques.
Hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and modern Lakehouse platforms.
Proven track record in managing data transformations, master data governance, and enterprise-level system implementations.
Exceptional ability to translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
Proficient in creating detailed documentation and delivering effective communication across teams.
Familiarity with DevOps practices, enterprise storage solutions, and server virtualization.
Knowledge of architecture standards and best practices for large-scale IT systems.
