The Opportunity
An exceptional leadership and technical opportunity has emerged for a driven engineering professional to make a visible impact with a premier, expanding organization specializing in machine tool spindle restoration. StaffRight Associates has been engaged to identify an expert who will spearhead operations at a key service facility, with a direct and rapid trajectory toward overseeing enterprise-wide operations as General Manager. Acting as a strategic external talent partner, StaffRight Associates is managing this search on behalf of our client to find a candidate capable of bridging advanced engineering expertise with facility leadership.
What You’ll Do
Lead Operations: Direct and optimize all operational workflows and productivity metrics for the specialized service facility.
Mentor Talent: Supervise, support, and develop a dedicated team of hands-on Repair Technicians.
Synchronize Logistics: Partner with regional service centers to balance workforce distribution and route repair projects to the most efficient facility.
Empower Sales Teams: Provide critical technical consultations, engineering insights, and precise cost and scheduling projections to the business development division.
Diagnose Systems: Analyze high-speed components to identify root causes of failure and engineer strategic mechanical improvements.
Formulate Valuations: Assess component evaluations, calculate material and labor expenditures, and finalize commercial project quotes.
Optimize Workflow: Delegate and schedule repair assignments based on individual technician capabilities and project complexity.
Enforce Quality Assurance: Validate final inspection documentation and technical benchmarks to guarantee that delivered systems achieve maximum performance metrics.
What You Bring
Application Engineers expertise coupled with a deep familiarity with Rotating Equipment mechanics.
Comprehensive mastery of Super Precision Rolling Element Bearings and their integration into complex machinery.
Proven familiarity with Machine Tool Service, Machining, or Grinding operational frameworks.
Substantial background in Bearing Failure Analysis and Mechanical Component Failure Analysis.
A solid background in Mechanical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering, with the capacity to execute advanced calculations for Machine Elements.
Strong organizational talents combined with excellent verbal and written communications.
An intrinsic drive for operational excellence, customer service alignment, and collaborative teamwork.
A minimum of 2 to 10 years of relevant professional experience; a completed University Bachelor''s Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
Compensation & Total Rewards
This full-time, direct-hire position offers a structured compensation framework built to reward operational leadership and technical mastery:
Annual Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 base compensation range
