Position Summary The Scrum Master is responsible for enabling high performing Agile teams by facilitating Scrum ceremonies, removing impediments, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. This role partners closely with Product Owners, development teams, and stakeholders to ensure delivery of high quality products aligned with business priorities.
Key Responsibilities Scrum Facilitation & Agile Leadership Facilitate core Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives. Ensure team adherence to Scrum values, principles, and practices. Coach team members in Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe. Team Support & Delivery Execution Remove blockers and impediments to ensure smooth team progress. Shield the team from distractions and external interruptions. Track and communicate team progress using metrics such as velocity, burn down charts, and cumulative flow diagrams. Collaboration & Stakeholder Management Work closely with the Product Owner to ensure a well defined and prioritized product backlog. Facilitate cross functional collaboration between development, QA, UX, and business teams. Coordinate with release management for successful deployment planning. Continuous Improvement Drive retrospectives and implement actionable improvements. Encourage the use of engineering best practices, quality standards, and automation where possible. Promote a culture of learning, psychological safety, and team empowerment. Risk & Dependency Management Identify and mitigate risks impacting sprint goals. Manage dependencies within and across teams. Communicate issues and progress to leadership in a timely manner.
