Role: IT Program Manager Specialist

Supporting: Large Financial Services Client

Location: Onsite - McLean, VA (Monday - Friday)

Position Description: We're seeking an experienced IT Program Manager Specialist to lead high visibility, cross functional initiatives within a fast paced, data driven environment. This role is ideal for a seasoned Program Manager who excels at driving clarity, coordinating across business and technical teams, and delivering polished insights to leadership.

Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate multiple projects across business, data, and technology teams

Build clear, executive ready reports and presentations

Interpret and validate financial and capital markets data

Support Snowflake migration and AI related governance workstreams

Track risks, issues, dependencies, and ensure milestones stay on track

Strengthen communication and alignment across stakeholders

Qualifications:

7+ years of proven IT Program/Project Management experience

Advanced Excel and strong analytical reporting abilities

Background in fixed income finance, financial accounting, or capital markets

Experience in operational risk management

Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, and stakeholder coordination

Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other visualization tools is a plus

Familiarity with JIRA, MS Project, or similar tools

Ability to interpret complex SQL queries

Exposure to Snowflake or AI governance initiatives is strongly preferred
