3Core Systems is looking for Power BI Developer / BI Modeler for one of our clients in Deerfield Beach, FL

Role: Power BI Developer / BI Modeler

Location: Deerfield Beach, FL (Hybrid)

Duration: 6+ months

Job Description:

Proven experience building and optimizing Power BI data models in an enterprise environment with ability to design dimensional models using star-schema principles, conformed dimensions, and appropriate data granularity.

  • Strong understanding of DAX, Power Query (M), and data modeling principles.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric or Azure Synapse, with the ability to work across both platforms.
  • Experience modernizing or migrating Synapse workloads to Microsoft Fabric.
  • Working knowledge of Lakehouse & Warehouse Concepts, including experience building pipelines, notebooks, data integration patterns, Delta/Parquet file formats and CI/CD pipelines.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into scalable and reusable data solutions.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality, and certification processes.
  • Experience working in Agile environmentsand collaborating across cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with Python and PySpark is a plus.
  • Passion for data.
  • Experience contributing to or working with Power BI/Power Platform COEs is a plus.
