Location: Juno Beach, Florida (preferred)

Role Overview
This position is responsible for estimating Renewable Energy Projects. The role involves developing, quantifying, and costing a complete capital expenditure (CapEx) model for project evaluation. This individual will provide technical guidance, estimating knowledge, and market pricing considerations during the estimating process for a portfolio of projects including solar, power plant, and transmission lines.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepares capital cost estimates for renewable energy projects.
- Reviews designs and specifications for cost effectiveness and suggests alternatives.
- Coordinates with other departments to ensure understanding of project objectives and efficient resource utilization.
- Remains current with technology and industry evolution to ensure capital estimates reflect correct market conditions.
- Establishes, builds, and implements metrics for cost and construction estimate checks.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Finance, Construction Management, or Equivalent Experience preferred.
Experience: A minimum of two years of relevant professional experience is preferred
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in engineering, design, or construction within the Renewable Energy Industry.
- Knowledge of HV Transmission Line Estimation, particularly with 69kV to 500kV systems.
- Familiarity with wind turbine design.
- Experience with large-scale solar panel design.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $45.00 to $60.00 per hour. The assignment is a 12-month contract with the potential for extension or conversion. Overtime may be available with permission.
