Job Title: Senior Automation Engineer – Seismic Platform
Location: Irvine, CA – Onsite
Duration: 12+ Months

 

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Automation Engineer with deep expertise in the Seismic platform to lead the design, analysis, and optimization of Seismic content automation capabilities. The ideal candidate will play a key role in defining the future state architecture for Seismic content management while enabling scalable and automated content operations across enterprise environments. This role requires strong collaboration with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams to ensure efficient content workflows, automation frameworks, and platform governance.

Key Technical Skills

  1. Seismic Platform Expertise
    Strong hands on experience working with Seismic platform capabilities including Seismic LiveDocs, Seismic LiveForms, and Seismic Document Generator Express.

  2. Platform Integrations
    Strong understanding of Seismic platform integrations across enterprise systems including content management platforms, CRM systems, and other enterprise applications.

  3. Data Mapping and Architecture
    Experience defining data mapping strategies and understanding content architecture across enterprise content ecosystems.

  4. Content Automation
    Ability to design and implement automation workflows for content creation, management, distribution, and governance within Seismic environments.

  5. Workflow Design and Optimization
    Experience analyzing and optimizing content workflows to improve operational efficiency and automation capabilities.

Core Responsibilities

  1. Seismic Content Architecture
    Perform deep analysis of Seismic content models across multiple repositories and identify opportunities for optimization and automation.

  2. Workflow Analysis
    Lead workflow mapping initiatives to understand current state content operations and identify automation opportunities.

  3. Automation Solution Design
    Design and implement automation frameworks to streamline content creation, content lifecycle management, and distribution processes.

  4. Content Structure Optimization
    Optimize Seismic content structure to improve scalability, content reuse, governance standards, and operational efficiency.

  5. Future State Architecture
    Define and document the future state architecture for Seismic content automation aligned with enterprise content and platform strategies.

  6. Requirements Analysis
    Gather, analyze, and document business and content related data requirements and translate them into clear and actionable technical requirements.

  7. Jira Management
    Create, refine, and manage Jira stories, tasks, and defects including clear descriptions, acceptance criteria, and dependencies to support content and data initiatives.

  8. Cross Functional Collaboration
    Work closely with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to ensure development activities align with sprint goals and release plans.

  9. Data Analysis and Quality Management
    Analyze datasets to identify trends, gaps, and quality issues while supporting root cause analysis and remediation of data related defects.

  10. Stakeholder Communication
    Act as a bridge between business teams, product managers, and technical teams to ensure alignment on content, data, and automation requirements.

  11. Data Governance
    Support data governance initiatives by ensuring consistent definitions, standards, and usage of content and business data across enterprise platforms.

  12. Testing and Release Support
    Support testing, validation, and release readiness activities including documentation, deployment coordination, and operational handoff.

  13. Issue Management and Support
    Provide support for data and content related issues while working with engineering and platform teams to resolve operational challenges.

Key Capabilities

  1. Deep expertise in Seismic content models, automation frameworks, and content lifecycle management.

  2. Strong experience designing and optimizing enterprise content workflows.

  3. Ability to define future state architectures and develop transition roadmaps for enterprise content automation.

  4. Strong analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.

  5. Experience working within large scale enterprise Seismic platform environments.

Experience Required

  1. Minimum 8+ years of experience in enterprise automation, content management platforms, or Seismic platform engineering.

  2. Proven experience working with enterprise scale Seismic implementations and automation frameworks.
