Position Title: SAP Project Manager (S/4HANA Implementation)

Description:

The ideal candidate will have delivered end-to-end transformation programs (Greenfield, Brownfield, or Hybrid) and possess deep expertise in program governance, stakeholder management, and SAP delivery frameworks (Activate/Agile/Waterfall). This role requires the ability to manage complex, multi-stream SAP programs across functional, technical, and integration workstreams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end delivery of SAP S/4HANA implementation programs, ensuring alignment with scope, timeline, budget, and quality.
• Manage large, cross-functional teams including functional (FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, etc.), technical (ABAP, Basis), and integration teams.
• Drive program governance, including steering committee reporting, RAID management (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies), and KPI tracking.
• Develop and execute project plans, resource plans, and delivery roadmaps using SAP Activate or hybrid methodologies.
• Coordinate with business stakeholders and leadership to ensure alignment on business objectives and transformation goals.
• Oversee cutover planning, data migration strategy, and go-live execution for large-scale deployments.
• Ensure adherence to change management, testing strategy (SIT/UAT), and release management processes.
• Manage vendor and partner relationships, including SI partners and offshore/onshore delivery models.
• Proactively identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful delivery.
• Drive post-go-live stabilization and hypercare support.

Required Qualifications:

• SAP Experience with Solid Experience in SAP project/program management.
• Proven experience leading at least 2+ large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementations (end-to-end).
• Strong understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture, modules, and integration landscape.
• Hands-on experience with SAP Activate methodology and Agile/Hybrid delivery models.
• Expertise in program governance, budgeting, forecasting, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience managing distributed global teams and multi-vendor environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and executive presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in industry domains such as Manufacturing, Aerospace & Defense, or Life Sciences.
• Familiarity with tools like SAP Solution Manager, Cloud ALM, JIRA, or MS Project.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or SAP Activate certification is a plus.
• Exposure to RISE with SAP, Cloud migrations, or digital transformation programs is highly desirable.
