Citadel Security USA is seeking a dedicated Full-Time Unarmed Security Officer to support overnight operations at a healthcare facility in Grand Junction, Colorado. This position plays an important role in maintaining a secure, welcoming, and orderly environment for patients, visitors, medical professionals, and facility staff during overnight hours.
The ideal candidate demonstrates professionalism, sound judgment, and strong observation skills. Success in this role requires the ability to remain attentive throughout the shift, communicate effectively with others, and respond appropriately to routine and emergency situations.

- Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday
- Hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Pay: Up to $18.00 per hour
Key Responsibilities Facility Security & Patrol - Conduct routine interior and exterior patrols throughout the healthcare campus
- Inspect entrances, hallways, parking areas, and common spaces for security concerns
- Monitor designated areas to help maintain a safe and orderly environment
- Identify and report hazards, maintenance concerns, or unusual activity
Access Management - Monitor facility entry points and restricted-access areas
- Verify identification and visitor authorization when required
- Assist with visitor management procedures and access documentation
- Observe entry and exit activity and report irregularities
Surveillance & Monitoring - Observe CCTV camera systems and security monitoring equipment
- Monitor alarms, access control systems, and other security technology
- Respond to alerts and investigate concerns in accordance with site procedures
- Communicate critical information to supervisors and appropriate personnel
Incident Response - Respond to disturbances, suspicious activity, safety concerns, and emergency situations
- Provide assistance to patients, visitors, and staff when security support is needed
- Use professional communication and de-escalation techniques when appropriate
- Coordinate with emergency responders and facility personnel as necessary
Documentation & Reporting - Complete detailed daily activity reports and incident documentation
- Maintain accurate records of security-related events and observations
- Document visitor interactions, investigations, and operational concerns
- Ensure all reporting is completed accurately and submitted on time
Minimum Qualifications - Must be at least 18 years of age
- Ability to successfully pass background screening requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Reliable attendance and professional work ethic
- Ability to remain alert and focused during overnight shifts
- Comfortable working within a healthcare environment
- Ability to follow written procedures and site-specific instructions
Required Healthcare Compliance Requirements Candidates must meet all client-specific onboarding and compliance standards, including:

Preferred Qualifications - Previous experience in hospital, healthcare, or medical facility security
- Familiarity with CCTV systems, access control platforms, and alarm monitoring
- Experience preparing incident reports and operational documentation
- Strong customer service and conflict-resolution skills
- Ability to remain calm and professional in high-stress situations

- Combination of walking patrols and stationary monitoring assignments
