#### Overview
The Sterling OMS Developer is responsible for the end-to-end design, development, integration, and support of IBM Sterling Order Management System (OMS) solutions at TBC. The role demands technical expertise in Sterling OMS, Java development, integration, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless order management processes.

### Key Responsibilities
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide production support for OMS, handle order/inventory/customer integration issues, and manage alerts.
- Solution Design & Implementation: Architect and implement Sterling OMS features, document business workflows, and ensure solutions align with business requirements.
- Code & Configuration: Lead and participate in code/design reviews, ensure code quality, and manage configuration and performance tuning of OMS.
- Project Support: Involve in technical projects-configurations, patching, software upgrades, etc.
- Data & Source Management: Maintain master configuration data, CDT processes, and manage source code repositories.
- Collaboration: Work closely with middleware, database, and infrastructure teams for project delivery and troubleshooting.
- Deployment & Change Management: Execute production deployments, support testing cycles, and follow change management processes.
- Documentation: Write SOPs, best practices, and technical documentation.

### Must-Have Technical Experience
- Sterling OMS: Strong command of core Sterling OMS functions-sourcing/scheduling, inventory, SDF, custom APIs, and hands-on build/deployment experience.
- Java Programming: Proficiency in Java for custom development within OMS.
- Integration: Familiarity with SOA, REST, XML, JSON; experience developing interfaces with other enterprise systems.
- Tools: Eclipse IDE, SoapUI, source code management tools.
- Other Technologies: XML, XSL, HTML, JavaScript, relational databases, middleware technologies.
- Sterling OMS Versions: Experience with IBM Sterling OMS v9x or v10x and IBM Call Center.

### Qualifications
- Experience: 5+ years in Sterling OMS design/implementation; 3+ years in enterprise Java web apps and on complex projects.
- Implementation: Solid track record with IBM Sterling OMS solutions and extending product functionality.
- Collaboration: Able to produce solution/functional design docs and work effectively with other technical teams.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication.
- Preferred: Knowledge of SAP, warehouse management systems.
