Title: IT Project Manager - Network Infrastructure - 2 Openings (Hybrid)
Location: Milwaukee, WI (Candidate can likely be located in either northern IL or Southeastern WI)
Duration: 12 Months
 
The role will be hybrid, going in to the office as needed.
 
Schedule: 8 am to 4 pm CST Monday thru Friday or as applicable to the project teams
 
Only W2 candidates are eligible for this position. Third-party or C2C candidates will not be considered
 
Overview: 
  • Project manager will work with client network telecommunication infrastructure leadership, project managers, and PMO/PCO. 
  • The Project manager will lead project schedules, coordinate resources, manage issues, must have project financial experience, manage project budget and accurate forecast, Invoice processing, responsible for project resource time approvals, hold project team meeting and stakeholder coordination meetings, keep project meeting notes, minutes, and adhere to compliance with PMO/PCO governance.
  • This position will also work collaboratively with vendor companies, support agreement negotiations and other telecommunications-related agreements. 
  • Licensing agreements and oversee funding support for special telecommunications related projects that support client business needs.
Job Duties
o Roles reports to the Project Control/Management Office. (PCO/PMO)
o Development and Management of project Delivery and Cost schedules for 1-10 projects
o Regular interval progress reporting – Progress reporting
o Maintaining Project Financial budgets (accruals, forecasts, actuals)
o Negotiating schedules and resolving delivery issues
o Creation of time cards (PWA)
 
• Approval of resource time cards (PWA)
o Job Site Safety Enforcement
o Coordinates project meetings review statescalate issues for corrective action.
o Identification of Issues and Risks on projects escalate as appropriate
o Submission of PO Reqs and confirmation of delivery for invoicing purposes.
o Escalation of issues to PCO
o Change request
o Responsible for coordination of project schedules, resources
o Attend Change management (IT CAB) – when needed
o Network infrastructure installation schedules and resources
o Documentation and coordination of Site equipment installations, turn up of equipment and Acceptance testing.
o Coordination/Monitoring with 3rd Party Vendors (Reporting to PCO status)
o Identification of Permitting needs using internal and external resources
 
Minimum Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must exhibit the following: 5 years in the following:
o Microsoft Project/PWA
o Budget, forecast, and accruals (SAP experience)
o Proficient in Excel
o 3rd vendor management
o Contract bidding and negotiations
o Experience managing project financials – actuals, invoice reconciliation, identifying variances
o Project Management Principles
o Network Infrastructure: network, routers, firewall, switches
o PMI-PMP, BA/BS preferred
 
Preferred Qualifications
The ideal candidate must exhibit the following: 10 years in the following:
o Microsoft Project
o Budget, forecast, and accruals (SAP Experience)
o Proficient in Excel
o 3rd party vendor management
o Contract bidding and negotiations
o Project Management Principles
o PM experience with Infrastructure Projects
o Network Infrastructure: network, routers, firewall, switches
o PMI-PMP, BA/BS preferred
