Role Overview

We are seeking a Quantitative Analyst to join a team responsible for market risk models. This role involves performing analysis on fixed income products such as treasury bonds, futures, and agency mortgage-backed securities. Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience is required, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in quantitative modeling/research, plus a deep understanding of fixed income, back office, and market risk. Experience in modeling for VaR or market risk is a strong fit.

Technical Skills: Fluency in Python for modeling, statistics, and data cleaning, using libraries such as Pandas and NumPy, is required. Basic SQL skills for querying databases like Snowflake are also necessary. Experience with treasury bond or mortgage-backed securities (MBS) is required.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of treasury securities and/or mortgage-backed securities pricing and VaR modeling is a significant advantage.
  • Familiarity with other high-level programming languages such as C++ or Java.
