Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We are partnering with organizations in Grand Haven that are seeking NPI Engineers. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the transfer of new products from design to manufacturing.
• Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new products.
• Collaborate with R&D and design teams to ensure manufacturability.
• Conduct DFM/DFA reviews and provide feedback for product design.
• Define and implement manufacturing control plans for new product introduction.
• Manage pilot production builds and validate manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues during NPI phase.
• Document NPI processes, work instructions, and manufacturing specifications.

Recommended Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience in NPI (New Product Introduction) or manufacturing engineering within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
• Proficient in CAD software (e.g., Altium Designer, OrCAD, SolidWorks Electrical) for schematic capture and PCB layout review.
• Strong understanding of PCBA manufacturing processes, test methodologies, and quality control principles.
• Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, C#) for test automation and data analysis.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) integration.
• Familiarity with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python) for automation.
• Knowledge of statistical process control (SPC) techniques.
