We are looking for Product Owner - Hybrid for our client in WOODLAND HILLS, CA.

Job Overview:

Pay Range: $45/hr - $50/hr

Requirement/Must Have:

• 8+ years of Product Owner / BSA experience.
• 6+ years of experience with SQL, data analysis, ETL/ELT, and data warehousing concepts.
• 6+ years of experience with reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, Cognos).
• 6+ years of Agile/Scrum expertise (backlog, user stories, ceremonies).
• Experience with claims, membership, provider, and benefits data.
• Knowledge of HIPAA / EDI transactions (834, 835, 837).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities:

• Act as a Product Owner within Agile/Scrum teams, owning the product backlog and prioritization.
• Create and manage epics, features, and user stories with clear acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with Scrum teams in sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Ensure deliverables align with business value and data strategy objectives.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements related to data engineering and analytics solutions.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements for development teams.
• Facilitate workshops, requirement discussions, and stakeholder sign-offs.
• Drive delivery of Data Engineering, Reporting, and Analytics projects.
• Support development of reports and dashboards (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
• Ensure data accuracy, validation, and reconciliation across systems.
• Collaborate with data engineers, architects, QA teams, and business teams to deliver end-to-end solutions.
• Drive alignment between data architecture, reporting, and business needs.
• Ensure adherence to regulatory and compliance standards (HIPAA, EDI transactions).

Nice to Have:

• Prior experience in Healthcare / Pharmacy (Rx) domain.
• Knowledge of claims, membership, provider, and benefits data.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Snowflake).
• Experience with data pipeline orchestration and APIs.
• Familiarity with data governance and data quality frameworks.

Skills:

• Strong experience in Data & Analytics / Data Engineering projects.
• Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Hands-on experience with user story creation, backlog management, and Agile ceremonies.
• Experience with reporting and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Cognos).
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

Qualification And Education:

• 7+ years of experience in Product Owner / Business Systems Analyst roles.
• Strong experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams.
