This position is for an Application Programmer responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining applications within Financial Crimes technology. The role involves designing, coding, testing, and documenting programs while collaborating with business partners to define system requirements. The programmer will provide data-driven insights, assess technological impacts, and participate in the full development lifecycle to deliver innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify applications to meet complex business requirements.
- Design, code, test, debug, and document programs and support activities.
- Contribute to story refinement and estimate work for delivery.
- Set up and automate continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
- Handle technical aspects of the application, including change management, maintenance, and platform upgrades.
- Analyze present-state systems and develop future-state approaches for implementation.
- Build data provisioning models to support large-scale data sourcing initiatives.
- Communicate effectively with managers, peers, and business partners on deliverables and timelines.
- Conduct discussions with business owners to perform requirements analysis, design, and development.
Required Qualifications
Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline is required.
Experience: A minimum of 7 years of applicable experience is required. Experience should include working with Agile methodologies, SDLC, CI/CD, and change management processes.
Technical Skills:- Java, J2EE, Spring framework, Hibernate, and MVC.
- Web services, Maven, Jenkins, and BitBucket.
- AngularJS or similar UI frameworks.
- Oracle 11g, SQL, and Stored Procedures.
- UNIX Shell scripting and an understanding of scheduling tools like Autosys.
- Test-Driven Development (TDD) and JUnit.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $63.00 to $68.26 per hour. Please note that the pay rate may be adjusted based on the specific contract, project, or work location. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off.
