Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado (Onsite)
Role Overview
The Planner Training Lead is responsible for leading the Planner component of the Training Team to develop and deliver training. This role manages the workflow of the Planner component and supports the Training Team Lead. The lead will coordinate with application Agile Release Trains to ensure training dependencies are planned for and that feature development is incorporated into the Planner training development cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Planner component of the Training Team to develop and deliver training.
- Author the Iteration plan for the Planner training work.
- Act as a Subject Matter Expert for the planner applications and support training, exercise, and test events.
- Create training material and train end-users at regional or combatant commands.
- Prepare plans, internal office communications, briefings, and training materials.
- Represent the team in the user community, conducting training and a train-the-trainer program.
- Collaborate with other teams within the program.
Required Qualifications
Clearance: Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance and be capable of obtaining a Top Secret (TS) clearance.
Experience:- Advanced degree and 3+ years of experience or a bachelor's degree and 5+ years of related experience.
- Experience with Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) Planner/Ops systems and Missile Defense.
- Experience in adult learning, education, and/or training.
- Experience developing training content for web-based and/or computer-based training that supports simulation for a large-scale software-intensive system.
- Technical aptitude to become a system expert in mission applications and interactive training system design/production.
Technical Skills:- Experience with the following tools: Articulate, Adobe Captivate, Adobe Photoshop, and MS Office Suite.
Certifications:- IAT - Level II certification, such as Security+.
Work Environment
This position requires the ability to travel up to 25% both domestically and internationally.

Compensation & BenefitsThe anticipated pay range for this position is $70.00/hr to $80.00/hr. Please note that the final pay rate will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, qualifications, and the specific requirements of the role.
