Role Overview:

The Technical Solution Leader will drive end-to-end data architecture and solutioning for large-scale data platforms in the insurance domain. This role requires strong expertise in Azure data services, data strategy, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver scalable, high-performance data solutions that support business insights and actuarial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end data architectures using cloud-native data services
• Define and drive enterprise data strategy, standards, and best practices
• Architect scalable data pipelines aligned with modern data architecture patterns (e.g., medallion architecture)
• Lead data discovery, profiling, and mapping across enterprise systems
• Translate business requirements into data models and scalable solutions
• Conduct gap analysis and define future-state architecture
• Establish data governance, data quality, and validation frameworks
• Design domain-specific data models supporting insurance operations (e.g., underwriting, claims, actuarial)
• Define and implement data ingestion, integration, and orchestration strategies
• Oversee data migration, modernization, and transformation initiatives
• Optimize data pipelines and storage for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
• Drive stakeholder alignment and cross-functional collaboration
• Deliver key artifacts such as architecture documents, data dictionaries, and validation frameworks

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10 12+ years of experience in data architecture, data engineering, or large-scale data programs
• Strong experience working with large-scale insurance datasets (policy, claims, financial data)
• Solid understanding of insurance and actuarial metrics and processes
• Expertise in data architecture, data modeling, and metadata management
• Strong experience in data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration frameworks
• Proven ability to establish and enforce data governance and data quality standards
• Experience designing scalable and high-performance data solutions
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in cloud-based data and analytics programs within the insurance domain
• Hands-on experience with distributed data processing frameworks (e.g., Spark, PySpark)
• Experience with modern data platform optimization and performance tuning
• Exposure to enterprise data modeling and data standardization initiatives
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
