Role Overview

The Apple Digital Experience Solutions and CMS team is looking for an outstanding AEM Developer to implement Adobe Experience Manager solutions across various projects. The candidate must demonstrate a deep understanding of core AEM technology. This role requires 6+ years of AEM project experience and 8–10 years of overall experience. The candidate is required to come onsite for the Apple interview; the first round will be conducted online.

 Responsibilities

• Implement end-to-end Adobe Experience Manager solutions for website content management and delivery.
• Develop and extend core AEM functionalities such as Launches, workflows, Sling Servlets, and custom components.
• Work with Sightly (HTL) and Sling Models to build robust AEM components.
• Implement and maintain AEM security configurations and Access Controls.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure all project deliverables are on time and of high quality.
• Work collaboratively with QA, UX, and other teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Document and clearly explain core technical processes and architectural decisions.
• Support Continuous Integration and Automated Test execution pipelines.

 Required Skills & Experience

• 6+ years of hands-on experience with AEM projects.
• Strong Java programming foundation with advanced Java concepts.
• Extensive hands-on experience with AEM Workflows, Sling Servlets, REST, JSON, and Lucene Indexing.
• Deep understanding of AEM security and Access Controls.
• Expertise in extending AEM core functionalities such as Launches.
• Must have worked on AEM 6.4 or newer versions.
• Working experience with Sightly (HTL) and Sling Models.
• Strong understanding of core AEM components including Oak, Sling, and Dispatcher.
• Experience with Coral UI and Granite UI / Adobe UI customization.
• Experience with Continuous Integration and automated test execution using tools such as Jenkins, Hudson, Selenium, or Maven.
• Big tech experience required.

 Desirable Skills

• Experience with Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics.
• Other CMS experience and a solid understanding of the Digital Experience Platform (DXP) landscape.
