Position Overview
Seeking an outstanding AEM Developer with 8–10 years of total experience and a mandatory Big Tech background to join the Digital Experience Solutions and CMS team. The role focuses on delivering full end-to-end website implementations, customizing Adobe Experience Manager components, and optimizing content delivery ecosystems on-site in Austin, TX.
Key Responsibilities
* AEM Solutions Implementation: Lead the end-to-end technical implementation and deployment of scalable websites using AEM 6.4+ for content management and delivery.
* Component & UI Customization: Design and build modular backend structures using HTL (Sightly) and Sling Models, and customize the authoring interface using Coral UI and Granite UI frameworks.
* Core Backend Architecture: Develop advanced AEM OSGi bundles, Sling Servlets, custom workflow processes, and REST/JSON API integration handlers based on a strong Java foundation.
* Platform Tuning & Indexing: Configure and optimize core AEM engine components including Apache Jackrabbit Oak storage layers, Sling resource mapping, Dispatcher caching rules, and Lucene search indexing strategies.
* Platform Extensions & Access Control: Extend advanced out-of-the-box (OOTB) capabilities like AEM Launches, blueprints, and multi-site management while enforcing strict repository security via ACLs (Access Control Lists).
* CI/CD Automation: Maintain test coverage and deployment integrity using automated build pipelines driven by Jenkins, Maven, and Selenium frameworks.
Required Skill
* Experience: 8–10 years of professional software engineering experience, featuring a minimum of 6 years explicitly dedicated to AEM project lifecycles.
* Mandatory Background: Must possess proven, direct experience working within a Big Tech corporate environment.
* Technical Stack: Deep hands-on expertise with Java, Apache Sling, JCR/Oak, HTL/Sightly, Sling Models, Lucene Indexing, and Workflow engineering.
* UI Frameworks: Comprehensive exposure customizing the AEM touch UI interface via Coral UI and Granite UI patterns.
* Nice to Have: Functional familiarity with broader Adobe Experience Cloud products, specifically Adobe Target and Adobe Analytics within a DXP landscape.
