Job Title: Product Owner

Location: Charlotte, NC

Contract Length: 6 months

Pay Rate: $52/hr - $57/hr

Role Overview

In this contingent resource assignment, you will consult on or participate in moderately complex initiatives within Business Execution and contribute to large-scale planning related to business and technology deliverables. This role serves as a Product Owner supporting strategic initiatives within Corporate & Investment Banking, partnering closely with product managers, business stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to translate business objectives into actionable requirements and successful product delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own and maintain the product backlog for assigned delivery teams.
  • Translate business requirements, features, and epics into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria.
  • Facilitate backlog refinement, sprint planning, and Agile ceremonies.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to gather, document, and validate requirements.
  • Analyze current-state and future-state processes and workflows.
  • Create process flows, use cases, business rules, and functional requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with software engineering teams to clarify requirements and priorities.
  • Support user acceptance testing (UAT), defect triage, and remediation efforts.
  • Communicate project progress, risks, dependencies, and delivery updates to stakeholders.
  • Ensure solutions align with regulatory, compliance, operational risk, and governance requirements.
  • Support roadmap planning and prioritization across business and technology teams.
Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience.
  • Experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or Product Analyst in Agile environments.
  • Experience supporting Corporate & Investment Banking (CIB), Commercial Banking, Treasury Management, Lending, or Capital Markets initiatives.
  • Strong experience creating user stories, acceptance criteria, backlog management, and requirements documentation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with LoanIQ, Salesforce/nCino, Microsoft Dynamics 365, or Power Apps.
  • Understanding of APIs, integrations, data flows, and enterprise architecture concepts.
  • Experience working in regulated financial services environments.
