Remote Workday Financials SME

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Remote Workday Financials SME.

Responsibilities:
* Lead optimization and redesign initiatives for Workday Financials and customer accounting functionality
* Configure and enhance accounts receivable, billing, and related financial processes
* Partner with Finance and business stakeholders to translate requirements into effective system solutions
* Evaluate current system processes and implement improvements that increase efficiency and scalability
* Lead business process design, configuration, testing, and implementation activities
* Manage field mapping, data requirements, and functional solution design
* Support the redesign and standardization of accounts receivable processes across multiple business areas
* Provide functional expertise and recommendations for future-state financial operations
* Partner with project teams to prioritize enhancements, resolve issues, and drive initiatives through completion
* Support integrations between Workday and other financial applications from a functional perspective
* Create and maintain system documentation, configuration requirements, and process standards

REQUIREMENTS:
* Extensive hands-on experience with Workday Financials
* Experience leading Workday implementations, reimplementations, enhancements, or large-scale optimization initiatives
* Hands-on experience with Workday configuration and business process design
* Experience with field mapping, data requirements, and functional solution development
* Advanced expertise with Workday Customer Accounts and Accounts Receivable functionality
* Strong understanding of billing, receivables, and related finance processes
* Knowledge of financial system integrations and enterprise finance applications
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to improve complex business processes
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
* Proven ability to independently lead functional workstreams and drive projects through completion

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
