Job Title: Sr. Project Manager

Location: Redmond, Washington 98052

Position Type: Contract

Job Summary:

Leads project management activities involving cross-functional teams focused on delivering internal products or administrative systems. This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, budgeting, and ensuring successful project delivery. Operates as an individual contributor, applying professional expertise with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage projects involving cross-functional teams to deliver internal products or administrative systems
  • Develop, oversee, and manage project plans, schedules, and budgets
  • Monitor projects from initiation through delivery, ensuring alignment with internal stakeholders and departments
  • Organize project activities, facilitate interdepartmental meetings, and ensure effective communication across teams
  • Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget constraints

Business Process & Improvement Responsibilities:

  • Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of existing business processes
  • Develop sustainable, repeatable, and measurable process improvements
  • Research and benchmark best business practices both internally and externally
  • Collect and analyze process data to recommend improvements focused on:
    • Enhanced safety
    • Increased productivity
    • Cost reduction
  • Identify opportunities where new technologies can support business process reengineering
  • Support initiatives related to:
    • Business process analysis and reengineering
    • Change management and performance measurement
    • Process-driven systems requirements
    • Benchmarking activities

Role Expectations:

  • Work independently with minimal supervision while exercising sound judgment
  • Apply specialized professional expertise to resolve complex issues
  • Demonstrate strong attention to detail and analytical decision-making based on factual data
  • Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor s degree or equivalent required
  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong knowledge of project management and business process improvement methodologies
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify gaps, and implement effective solutions
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a structured environment
