Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a Senior JDE Systems Analyst for an opportunity with one of our premier clients.
We are seeking a highly experienced
JD Edwards (JDE) Systems Analysts who brings a strong blend of technical and functional expertise. These individuals will operate in a hybrid capacity-serving as both technical resources and Business Analysts-supporting key initiatives across manufacturing and supply chain operations.
This role is ideal for seasoned JDE developers who have evolved into cross-functional analysts and are comfortable engaging with both IT and business stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities - Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements
- Translate business needs into functional and technical specifications
- Perform hands-on development and support within JDE as needed
- Read and interpret ER (Event Rules) code
- Debug issues and troubleshoot system defects
- Write and execute complex SQL queries for data analysis and validation
- Support enhancements, integrations, and system improvements
- Participate in testing, validation, and deployment activities
- Provide guidance on best practices within JDE modules
Required Qualifications - 8+ years of experience with JD Edwards (JDE) EnterpriseOne
- Strong technical background with ability to:
- Read/write ER code
- Debug applications
- Develop and modify JDE objects
- Write and execute SQL queries
- Proven experience gathering requirements and writing:
- Functional specifications
- Technical design documents
- Deep functional expertise in:
- Manufacturing
- Shop Floor Management
- Materials / Inventory Management
- Experience working in cross-functional environments (IT + business)
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications - Experience in large-scale manufacturing environments
- Prior experience in a hybrid Systems Analyst / Business Analyst role
- Familiarity with integrations and data flows within JDE
