Job Description:
Senior IT Project Manager

Location: Orlando, Florida (Hybrid)

Role Overview

We are seeking two Senior IT Project Managers to lead the delivery and execution of complex, large-scale software development projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of project delivery, from planning and execution to budget management and stakeholder coordination. These positions will support critical initiatives within the digital lodging, sales, and booking domains, including the Dynamic Rooms Pricing and Ticket Evolution Phase 3 projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day execution of technical projects, coordinating with engineering teams, scrum masters, and product managers to ensure timely delivery.
  • Drive the full project lifecycle, including scope definition, project planning, tracking, facilitation, and stakeholder management.
  • Own and manage multi-million dollar project budgets, including forecasting, resource allocation, and ensuring spending alignment.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove blockers, and drive the work within sprints to completion.
  • Partner with technical product teams, experience product owners, and design teams to align on functionality and business requirements.
  • Coordinate efforts across multiple technology teams and contributing studios, potentially up to 25 teams.
  • Prepare for future planning cycles and ensure the team is ready for subsequent project phases.
  • Act as a self-motivated driver for projects, ensuring a sense of urgency and continuous progress.
Required Qualifications

Experience:
  • 7-10+ years of technical project management experience focused on enterprise-level software development projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including scope, planning, tracking, and stakeholder management.
  • Proven experience managing large, multi-million dollar budgets and handling financial forecasting.
  • Experience working with back-end systems, APIs, and cloud-hosted applications (AWS experience is beneficial).

Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Jira for project tracking.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Clarity (myPPM) for forecasting and budget management.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the lodging, travel, or ticketing industries.
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet, SharePoint, Confluence, or similar wiki tools.
  • Previous experience in a large enterprise environment is highly valuable.
  • A Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or other Agile certifications (CSM, ACP, SAFe).
