ETL Informatica Developers with extensive experience in enterprise data engineering, ETL development, and large-scale data integration within complex environments. This is a hands-on, senior-level technical role requiring deep expertise across Informatica, SQL, and distributed data systems.
Required Qualifications- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
- 10+ years of relevant ETL/Data Engineering experience
- Strong ETL development experience using Informatica PowerCenter and related Informatica tools
- SQL/PLSQL expertise for data extraction, transformation, and loading
- Exposure to advanced data transformations including JSON/XML parsing
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Bitbucket)
- Experience working in Agile environments
Technical SkillsETL & Data Engineering- Design, develop, and maintain ETL pipelines using Informatica
- Data integration from diverse structured/unstructured sources
- Development of relational and dimensional data models
- Data cleansing, data quality, and transformation processes
Big Data & Distributed Systems- Deep understanding of the Hadoop ecosystem including:
- HDFS, YARN, MapReduce, Hive, Pig, HBase, Flume, Sqoop, Zookeeper, Oozie
- Experience with Spark, Kafka, and NoSQL technologies
Database & Query Optimization- Strong SQL fundamentals
- Performance optimization of complex SQL queries and scripts
- Data warehouse design and support for BI workloads
Automation & Scheduling- Experience with job schedulers such as Autosys
- Ability to develop scripts and contribute to automation/SOP processes
Roles & Responsibilities- Design, develop, and enhance ETL processes using Informatica
- Integrate large-scale data pipelines while ensuring consistency, accuracy, and quality
- Build and maintain data warehouses supporting enterprise analytics
- Optimize ETL workflows and SQL queries for performance and scalability
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues in ETL processes and data flows
- Develop and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes
- Perform unit, integration, and system testing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineering, BI, analytics, and application teams
- Maintain high standards of data quality, transformation logic, and modeling practices
