Job Overview:
This role serves as a technical consultant and senior individual contributor within the Enterprise Data Analytics team, delivering advanced analytics and data science solutions that support operational reliability, grid modernization, customer experience, and clean energy initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in data science, machine learning, and analytics, with a strong focus on delivering actionable insights and scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with business units to identify high-value data science use cases.
  • Design, build, and deploy predictive, prescriptive, and diagnostic models.
  • Apply advanced techniques such as time series forecasting, survival analysis, optimization, clustering, NLP, and anomaly detection.
  • Develop end-to-end data science solutions, from data acquisition to model deployment and monitoring.
  • Support implementation of MLOps best practices for scalable and reliable analytics solutions.
  • Collaborate with data engineers, platform teams, and cloud architects to ensure production-ready models.
  • Evaluate model performance, identify data/model drift, and recommend retraining strategies.
  • Create intuitive visualizations, dashboards, and self-service analytics tools.
  • Mentor junior data scientists and analysts, contributing to analytics standards and best practices.
  • Support clean energy transformation through responsible and ethical use of data and AI.

Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience in Data Science using Python or R, with a focus on large, complex datasets.
  • Proven ability to translate complex analytical findings into actionable insights.
  • Experience designing, developing, and deploying advanced analytics and machine learning solutions.
  • Strong expertise in creating clear, interpretable visualizations and interactive dashboards (e.g., RShiny, Power BI, Streamlit, Dash).
  • Experience with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data (e.g., sensor/SCADA data, time series data, text, images).
  • Expertise in machine learning, statistical modeling, forecasting, optimization, and anomaly detection.
  • Working knowledge of MLOps practices, including model lifecycle management, CI/CD pipelines, and deployment tools (e.g., MLflow, Dataiku, Azure ML).
  • Understanding of model monitoring, including performance tracking, explainability, and bias detection.
  • Experience with data engineering concepts, including data ingestion, transformation, and feature engineering.
  • Familiarity with cloud and modern analytics platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, Snowflake, Databricks).
  • Understanding of governance, security, and regulatory requirements for enterprise data environments.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate effectively in multi-disciplinary teams.

Pay Range: $55 - $61 W2

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by several factors, including the scope, complexity, and location of the role, as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials, and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
