StaffRight Associates is seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to lead the design, development, and enhancement of mission-critical applications for our premier client. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity based in Wilmington, DE, requiring an onsite presence four days per week. As a W2 employee of our client, you will provide expert technical direction and serve as a primary architect for complex system integrations and new application development.

Professional Overview

In this capacity, you will act as a key individual contributor on large-scale technical projects, bridging the gap between sophisticated business requirements and robust technological solutions. You will be responsible for the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from initial technical analysis and effort estimation to debugging and user acceptance testing. Beyond individual development tasks, you will oversee system analysis, evaluate interrelationships between platforms, and recommend emerging technologies to optimize system effectiveness.

Core Responsibilities

  • Architectural Leadership: Lead complex systems analysis and design efforts, ensuring all solutions align with overarching business objectives and internal control standards.

  • Technical Execution: Develop and maintain enterprise-grade applications using the .NET framework, C#, and Angular, while leveraging Azure cloud services for scalable infrastructure.

  • Project Management: Prepare comprehensive technical project plans, manage timelines, and coordinate development tasks for team members across small and large-scale initiatives.

  • Quality Assurance: Execute detailed test plans, perform rigorous debugging, and maintain precise technical and functional specifications.

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a technical liaison between application teams, business units, and leadership to drive project milestones and ensure seamless solution delivery.

Requirements

  • Education: Minimum of an Associate’s degree in a related field.

  • Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience in systems analysis and application development.

  • Technical Proficiency: Proven hands-on expertise in .NET, C#, Angular, and Azure.

  • Operational Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously and navigate diverse software/hardware platforms.
