StaffRight Associates is currently partnering with our premier client to secure a high-caliber Full Stack Developer for a critical 12+ month contract engagement. Based in Buffalo, NY, this role operates on a hybrid schedule (four days onsite) and represents a sophisticated technical opportunity for an established engineer to drive enterprise-level systems analysis, design, and development. As a W2 employee of our client, you will function as a pivotal individual contributor while providing technical mentorship to ensure the seamless delivery of complex software solutions.

Professional Scope and Responsibilities

In this capacity, you will oversee the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), from initial technical analysis and effort estimation to rigorous debugging and user acceptance testing. You will be responsible for navigating the interrelationships between various platforms and interfacing applications to ensure organizational efficiency.

  • Technical Leadership: Direct development tasks, monitor project milestones, and provide high-level systems analysis for large-scope technical projects.

  • Architecture & Development: Engineer robust front-end solutions using Angular and develop high-performance backend APIs utilizing .NET Core (C#).

  • System Optimization: Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies, policies, and processes to enhance system performance and maintain the strategic direction of supported business functions.

  • Project Governance: Prepare detailed technical and functional specifications, manage project plan components, and ensure all development adheres to strict risk, regulatory, and internal control standards.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Coordinate effectively between application teams and business units to implement comprehensive systems solutions.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in professional systems analysis and application development.

  • Front-End Expertise: Deep proficiency in Angular or similar Single Page Application (SPA) frameworks.

  • Backend Mastery: Strong experience in API development using .NET Core and C#.

  • Engineering Standards: Demonstrated experience with automated testing frameworks and DevOps-oriented engineering practices.

  • Operational Excellence: Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously with exceptional organizational and time management skills.

  • Preferred Background: Experience within the banking industry is highly desirable.
