RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a QA Manager, Web & Mobile Quality Engineering in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
Summary:
This role will lead enterprise Quality Engineering initiatives across web, mobile, API, and end-to-end testing environments. The ideal candidate will drive the transformation to an automation-first, AI-enabled quality model while establishing best practices, improving release quality, and accelerating software delivery. This position requires strong leadership experience, deep expertise in quality engineering, and the ability to partner with technology and business stakeholders to build scalable testing strategies.
Responsibilities:
* Lead Quality Engineering initiatives across web, mobile, API, and end-to-end testing platforms
* Drive the transition from manual testing to an automation-first quality engineering framework
* Develop and execute enterprise QA automation strategies focused on scalability, efficiency, and quality outcomes
* Establish and enhance automation frameworks for web, mobile, API, and eCommerce applications
* Implement AI-driven quality engineering practices, including automated test generation, defect analysis, regression optimization, and risk identification
* Define quality metrics, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting processes to measure testing effectiveness and release readiness
* Partner with engineering, product, and business teams to embed quality throughout the software development lifecycle
* Build automated quality gates and continuous testing capabilities within CI/CD pipelines
* Champion modern testing methodologies including BDD, TDD, and risk-based testing approaches
* Mentor QA leaders, automation engineers, and quality teams across distributed environments
* Establish quality governance, standards, and best practices across the organization
* Support high-volume digital and customer-facing web and mobile experiences
REQUIREMENTS:
* 10+ years of software quality assurance and quality engineering experience
* 5+ years of leadership experience managing enterprise QA organizations
* Proven success leading automation transformation initiatives
* Experience supporting large-scale web and mobile applications
* Strong hands-on knowledge of test automation frameworks and testing tools
Experience developing automation strategies for:
* Web applications
* Mobile applications
* APIs
* End-to-end business workflows
* Experience implementing testing solutions within CI/CD environments
* Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and DevOps practices
* Experience managing geographically distributed teams, including offshore resources
* Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Skills:
* Experience supporting eCommerce or digital commerce platforms
* Experience leading QA organizations of 25+ team members
* Experience managing QA managers, team leads, and matrixed teams
* Experience testing React Native mobile applications
* Experience working within large enterprise technology environments

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
