Contract

  • Analyze and evaluate client business needs and translate them into comprehensive design specifications, including conceptual models, high-level architecture, and detailed technical documentation.
  • Design, code, test and deploy programs using RPG Free, RPGLE, SQLRPGLE, CLLE, COBOL, Java, ILE service programs.
  • Modernizing the legacy applications to integrate with external systems SAP and Salesforce CRM while ensuring audit safety and traceability.
  • Leverage IBM IWS framework to expose RPGLE, SQLRPGLE and SQL store procedures to external systems.
  • Refactor monolithic logic into modular, reusable components for scalability. Implementing complex functionalities of the existing application and documenting the functionality and technical changes for future reference.
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs, web services using Json and XML formats. Map and transform EDI transactions (X12/EDIFACT) using canonical models.
  • Design normalized, high-integrity Db2 for IBMi schemas and implement embedded SQL, SQL store procedures, UDFs and window functions for performance and maintainability
  • Architect and implement integrations leveraging IBM MQ to enable reliable, audit-safe, and scalable transaction processing across distributed systems. Oversee configuration, maintenance, and performance monitoring of IBM WebSphere environments to ensure secure, scalable hosting of enterprise-grade Java applications.
  • Identify design and operational bottlenecks, conduct root cause analysis, and propose performance optimization strategies to enhance system efficiency.
  • Design and enforce robust security protocols and access controls across business modules to ensure data protection and role-based access. OAuth 2.0 and JWT will be used for authorization and the authentication.
  • Continuously monitor application health and system responses. Handle incidents, resolve problem tickets, address user queries, and fulfil service requests promptly.
  • Building CI/CD pipelines for continues production releases and deployments.
  • Oversee release activities, ensuring smooth deployment and timely communication of updates to all stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily scrums, and retrospectives, contributing to iterative development and continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members as needed, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
