Description
We are seeking a Senior Developer to join our Data Engineering team, focusing on enterprise data modernization. This role requires onsite presence in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX and is a contract position. The successful candidate will collaborate with leads and stakeholders to design and optimize solutions on a cloud-based data platform. Expertise in data governance, security, and performance optimization is essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Design scalable data solutions using a cloud-based platform.
- Partner with teams to define implementation approaches and best practices.
- Optimize environments for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
- Implement data governance, lineage, and security controls.
- Support migration initiatives from traditional databases to cloud platforms.
Qualifications
- 5 years of Data Engineering experience.
- 3 years of hands-on experience with cloud data platforms.
- Strong knowledge of data governance and security solutions.
- Experience with performance tuning and cost optimization.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
