Job Title: Senior Storage Infrastructure Support Engineer

Use your storage and infrastructure support experience to help maintain reliable, secure, and high-performing systems in a critical operations environment.
This role is ideal for a senior infrastructure engineer with strong L3 storage experience and the ability to support broader compute, network, backup, cloud, and desktop operations. The Senior Storage Infrastructure Support Engineer will provide L3 storage support and assist with infrastructure reliability, performance, capacity, and availability while partnering closely with compute, backup, network, cloud, and operations teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide L3 support for enterprise storage environments.
- Monitor storage performance, capacity, availability, and reliability.
- Troubleshoot storage-related incidents and performance issues.
- Support storage dependencies for compute, virtualization, backup, and cloud environments.
- Assist with storage documentation, diagrams, configurations, and operational procedures.
- Coordinate with vendors for storage hardware, software, maintenance, and escalations.
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts.
- Participate in on-call rotation and critical incident response.
- Provide L2 support across other infrastructure domains as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of infrastructure, systems, or storage support experience.
- Strong L3 storage support experience.
- Experience with storage performance, capacity, availability, and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of compute, virtualization, backup, network, and cloud dependencies.
- Experience working with vendors and support providers.
- Strong documentation, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Storage vendor certifications or relevant infrastructure certifications.
- Healthcare or critical operations experience.
- Experience with VMware, backup platforms, cloud storage, or data center environments.
- Experience with monitoring tools and performance metrics.
