3Core Systems is looking for Technical Project Manager for one of our clients in Dallas, TX
Role: Technical Project Manager
Location: Dallas, TX (Hybrid 3 Days a week onsite)
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
- Location: Uptown Dallas (5 Minutes from 3131 McKinney Ave. | Suite 175| Dallas, TX 75204)
- Will sit on client site - 3 days onsite, 2 days remote
- 6-month durations, likely to go 12+ months - or then have ability to switch clients if the work is there.
- Consulting background is highly desired
- Communication needs to be top notch
- Will be multiple rounds with Client
This role is for a Technical Project Manager to lead the delivery of IT Infrastructure Projects.
An ideal candidate should possess at the very least fundamental knowledge of IT infrastructure components (storage, backup, networks, compute). Some of the technical/analysis responsibilities include facilitating solutioning discussions related to the gap analysis, system design, configuration, system upgrades etc. related to Infra initiatives.
Project management responsibilities include but not limited to
- Ensuring technical feasibility of project requirements
- Clearly defining project goals, objectives, and scope
- Developing detailed project plans with timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
- Leading cross-functional project teams in a Multi-vendor environment
- Managing project budget and financials
- Ensuring project deliverables meet defined quality criteria, while effectively managing project risks, periodic status reporting etc.
- Providing updates as part of client and internal readouts, as needed
Familiarity with the following solutions/technical areas is a plus: Storage (Infinidat, NetApp), Backup (Cohesity), Active Directory, Disaster Recovery, Data Center Operations, Cloud (AWS/Azure), Software upgrades, Middleware, DCIM (Datacenter Infrastructure Management)
