Engineering Manager | Muskegon, MI

Salary Range: $118,000 - $167,000 depending on experience

The Opportunity

We partner with manufacturers across Muskegon seeking Engineering Managers who want more than a lateral move. These companies hire intentionally, and we connect them with professionals ready for roles that fit.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of engineers, fostering their professional growth and development.
  • Oversee the design, development, and improvement of manufacturing processes and equipment.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient execution of engineering projects.
  • Implement and maintain best practices for engineering processes, tools, and documentation.
  • Drive the adoption of new technologies and innovative solutions to enhance manufacturing capabilities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and industry best practices.

Recommended Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of experience in engineering within a manufacturing environment, with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing engineering projects from conception to completion, including budget and timeline adherence.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with CAD software, PLM systems, and other relevant engineering tools.
