Summary

Job Title: Senior IT Project Manager AML Program
Location: Remote

Role Summary:

Lead the development and implementation of an enterprise-wide Anti-Money Laundering (AML) compliance program for a newly established Crown corporation. Build the full project foundation charters, roadmads, governance frameworks, policies, and operational processes-to meet federal regulatory (FINTRAC) and provincial compliance requirements in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Establish project foundation: program charters, roadmaps, Gantt charts, business plans, risk frameworks
Develop AML policies, governance structures, documentation, and operational processes for regulatory oversight
Coordinate across jurisdictions, legal counsel, external consultants, operators, and government representatives
Prepare for regulatory examinations and draft executive/board-level briefing materials
Lead cross-functional teams and manage complex multi-stakeholder relationships
Navigate dynamic startup environment with strategic direction and hands-on execution

Required Experience:

5+ years: Senior project management experience
5+ years: PM on large, complex custom software development projects (in-house builds) in environments similar in size/complexity to provincial government
7+ years: Developing/maintaining stakeholder relationships across organizations, including executive level
7+ years: Leading complex multi-stakeholder, multi-technology projects
7+ years: Change management deliverables (Change Strategy/Plans, Training Strategy/Plans, Stakeholder Impact Assessments, Communication Strategy/Plans)
7+ years: MS Project tools
10+ years: Written/verbal communications, including strategic business and technical documentation
Daily availability for face-to-face meetings with clients and technical teams

Education & Certifications:

Required: Bachelor's degree, diploma, or certificate in IT, Computer Science, or related field
Required: Active PMP or PGMP certification (PMI or equivalent) attach copy with submission

Other Mandatory Requirements:

Criminal record check (provided upon request before start date)
Completion of mandatory training: FOIP, Security/Cybersecurity, Information Management, Respect in the Workplace
Max 3 submissions per supplier
