For this contractor assignment, the OCM Center of Excellence is establishing a dedicated Organizational Change Management capability for Mergers, Acquisitions, and Integration (M&A / MAIT). This role will directly support our organizations growth strategy by strengthening the enterprise capability needed to scale acquisition readiness and integrate new opportunities with greater discipline. By building trusted stakeholder insight, repeatable OCM artifacts and clear execution models before a transaction is announced, the role helps accelerate integration momentum and drive deal value faster.

responsibilities:

- Own, develop and mature the M&A OCM artifact suite, keeping stakeholder analysis, change strategy, communications strategy and change plans consistent with one another.

- Lead structured persona interviews across FIT stakeholder groups to surface role-specific impacts, communication needs, adoption risks, readiness gaps, process dependencies, decision points and enablement needs.

- Validate artifacts and assumptions directly with stakeholders and sponsors, securing agreement on scope, objectives and timelines for change initiatives.

- Conduct change impact assessments that identify and quantify the effect of proposed changes by role, process, system and channel.

- Connect enterprise M&A OCM strategy to individual MAIT and FIT playbooks, existing internal processes and acquisition readiness plans, validating artifact links and IPOR alignment.

- Develop and deliver clear communications so stakeholders understand what is changing, why, and what is expected of them; coordinate communication campaigns, workshops and engagement sessions.

- Engage senior leaders, managers and employees to build support and commitment, and influence across multiple levels of leadership where there is resistance to large-scale change.

- Lead the OCM strategy when an acquisition occurs, translating the enterprise approach into actionable plans and coordinating contractors assigned to tactical execution.

- Define and maintain the contractor execution model, directing surge resources toward communication drafting, meeting logistics, artifact updates, tracking, status reporting and tactical plan execution while retaining strategy, stakeholder relationships, governance and quality control internally.

- Monitor progress, identify risks and issues, evaluate the effectiveness of change approaches, and recommend improvements; raise awareness when initiatives overlap or belong under a broader change plan.

- Document change activities, progress and outcomes, and present insights, learnings and recommendations to stakeholders and project teams.

- Serve as a subject matter expert on change management practice and contribute to the COE's capability development.

qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree or higher in a Business or Technical discipline (e.g., Computer Science, Software Engineering, Math) and a minimum of six years of work experience in technical infrastructure, IT Process design/process improvement or IT Project Management positions

- In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, a minimum of eight years of related work experience in technical infrastructure, IT process design/process improvement or IT project management position.
