Summary

Role Summary
This role involves monitoring and maintaining the health, performance, and security of network infrastructure across multiple operational sites. The position requires active troubleshooting, configuration management, and deployment of network hardware and software. The focus is on ensuring network reliability, security compliance, and supporting project initiatives through collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor network performance and health across all operational sites, responding promptly to alerts and troubleshooting connectivity issues.
  • Validate site connectivity for primary and backup communication links, including cellular, satellite, and terrestrial connections.
  • Review logs to identify recurring issues and potential service degradations, supporting incident response efforts.
  • Deploy, configure, and stage network equipment for new and existing facilities, ensuring alignment with network design standards.
  • Support the installation and cutover of circuits and hardware, performing validation and post-deployment reviews.
  • Maintain and update network documentation, including diagrams, IP management, and configuration records, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Conduct periodic network audits, patch management, and vulnerability remediation to uphold security standards.
  • Automate configuration deployment and validation processes using scripting and automation tools to improve efficiency.
  • Prepare hardware for deployment, coordinate site readiness, and assist field personnel during installations and troubleshooting activities.
  • Participate in team meetings and collaborate with engineering and operations teams on project planning, site turn-ups, and network modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience with network monitoring, troubleshooting, and hardware deployment in enterprise environments.
  • Strong understanding of network protocols, configuration management, and security standards, including routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Familiarity with network automation, scripting, and use of automation tools to streamline workflows.
  • Ability to document processes, troubleshoot methodically, and create detailed documentation and reports.
  • Prior experience supporting network infrastructure in a hybrid environment, including site validation and logistic coordination.
  • Availability to work in a hybrid schedule, with time split between the office and remote work.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage inventory, documentation, and deployment tasks.
  • Ability to perform in lab environments for testing, validation, and pilot deployments prior to production rollout.
  • “Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.”

Publishing Pay Range: $40.00 - $55.00 Per Hour

Location Requirements: Hybrid
