Technical Project Manager
Overview

We are seeking a Technical Project Manager who excels at driving alignment, clarity, and execution across complex, cross-functional initiatives. This role focuses on ensuring teams deliver the right work at the right time and in the right way.

The ideal candidate will partner closely with Product, Engineering, and Program leadership to translate priorities into actionable plans, proactively manage risks and dependencies, and ensure teams consistently deliver against intended outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Drive End-to-End Delivery
  • Own planning and execution of complex, cross-functional initiatives across Product and Engineering teams
  • Translate business and program priorities into clear, actionable plans
  • Proactively identify risks, dependencies, and tradeoffs, and drive resolution
Ensure Alignment Between Strategy and Execution
  • Partner with Program Managers, Technical Product Managers, and Engineering teams to align work with high-priority outcomes
  • Continuously validate that execution aligns with program objectives, not just task completion
  • Provide clarity and direction when priorities shift or ambiguity arises
Lead Execution with Structure and Rigor
  • Establish and maintain clear plans, timelines, and delivery milestones
  • Track progress against defined outcomes rather than activities alone
  • Identify and remove blockers to maintain delivery momentum
Facilitate Cross-Functional Collaboration
  • Act as a central point of coordination between Product, Engineering, and Program stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment on priorities, timelines, and tradeoffs
  • Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences
Continuously Improve Delivery Practices
  • Identify gaps in planning, execution, and communication, and implement improvements
  • Strengthen team operating rhythms, including planning cycles, retrospectives, and status reporting
  • Support teams in becoming more predictable, efficient, and outcome-focused
Technical Environment
  • Comfortable working with engineering teams and understanding technical concepts such as APIs, system architecture, and dependencies
  • Able to translate technical complexity into clear execution plans
  • Collaborative partner to engineering teams, respecting and supporting technical decision-making
Qualifications
  • Strong project management fundamentals, including planning, prioritization, risk management, and execution
  • Demonstrated ability to lead complex initiatives across multiple teams
  • Experience working in software or technical environments alongside engineering teams
  • Solid understanding of Agile delivery practices and team operating rhythms
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and introduce structure where needed
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Proven ability to proactively identify and resolve delivery risks
  • 3-7+ years of experience in project or program management roles, with ownership of complex initiatives
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in SaaS or platform-based product environments
  • Hands-on experience working within Agile frameworks (e.g., Scrum, Kanban)
  • Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet
What Success Looks Like
  • Demonstrates ownership of outcomes, not just tasks
  • Proactively identifies and resolves risks and misalignment
  • Ensures teams are focused on the highest-priority work
  • Brings structure and clarity to ambiguous situations
  • Communicates effectively and drives alignment across stakeholders
