Summary

Description: We are looking to bring on a senior Boomi Integration Developer for a contract engagement with potential to extend or convert. The team currently supports approximately 300 active interfaces connecting systems including SFCC (eCommerce), Manhattan OMS, EDW, MFCS, and others - with a WMS migration actively in progress that will drive significant new integration work.
The ideal candidate is a strong developer (not architect) who can come in, get up to speed quickly, and start contributing to both day-to-day operational support and new integration development. This person will work closely with application owners across the business and must be able to understand the business reasoning behind their development work - not just the technical execution.
Primary Responsibilities
  • Provide daily operational support and issue resolution across ~300 Boomi interfaces in production
  • Lead the end-to-end development of integration solutions using Boomi, support SDLC during the design process, gathering and documenting business requirements, technical requirements, data mapping, plan and execute regression, integration testing, cutover, go-live and post go-live activities
  • Design and develop net new integrations - with WMS migration being the highest priority near-term initiative
  • Collaborate with application owners (SFCC, MFCS, OMS, etc.) to understand business requirements and build appropriate integration solutions
  • Perform data mapping, transformation, and acknowledgement handling across integrated systems
  • Participate in SDLC across all phases for integration projects
  • Actively seek opportunities to improve integration processes, automate tasks, and enhance overall efficiency. Strive to optimize and streamline integration workflows
  • Identify potential challenges or bottlenecks in integration processes and provide innovative solutions to address them
  • Create and maintain technical documentation including architecture diagrams, process flows, and data mapping specs
  • Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and quality guidelines
  • Mentor junior team members as needed

Required Qualifications:
  • 7-8+ years of Boomi integration development experience
  • Retail or E-commerce industry background at some point in career - required
  • Strong SQL proficiency (data access; stored procedures not required)
  • Experience with REST and SOAP APIs
  • Proficiency with Boomi connectors: sFTP, HTTP Client, Command Shape, DB V1, DB V2
  • Strong communication skills; ability to work cross-functionally with business and technical stakeholders
